Twilight Reeling = Velvet Underground material?

Is there any truth to the rumors that some of what appeared on "Set the
twilight reeling" was written for the rumored-but-cancelled new VU
studio album that was apparantly planned during the reunion of the
90's?

It actually wouldn't surprise me. After all, material that Lou had
written with the Velvets surfaced for years and years on his solo
albums.

I never heard that, but it seems entirely possoble.
